Here you’ll find clear, concise answers to the most common questions about your stay at Residence Alpina
A few days before your arrival, you will receive an email from us with all the important information. Using the link provided, you can conveniently complete the online check-in and let us know your approximate arrival time.
As we live right here at the Residence, we are happy to welcome you personally upon arrival. You can first park in our check-in garage on the 1st floor and then ring the doorbell – we will come and meet you there.
If, exceptionally, we are not on site, we will let you know in advance and provide you with clear instructions on how to access your apartment independently.
On the day of arrival, your apartment is available from 2:00 pm. On the day of departure, we ask you to leave the apartment by 10:00 am at the latest. Early arrivals or late departures may be possible by prior arrangement, but cannot be guaranteed.
You can park your car free of charge in our private underground garage, located directly beneath Residence Alpina. The garage is convenient and secure and has a maximum entrance height of 2.30 m.
Yes, breakfast can be added on request for €16 per person. The following prices apply for children:
  • up to 3 years: free
  • 4 to 8 years: €8
  • 9 to 11 years: €10
Breakfast must be booked by the evening before at the latest. Breakfast is not available during the winter months.
Yes, on request we offer a fresh bread delivery service with bread and rolls from the local bakery. The fresh bread is delivered directly to your apartment door. The service is available on request and for an additional charge.
Yes, we have a 24-hour self-service fridge with a selection of drinks and small snacks. The selection includes mineral water, soft drinks, beer, wine, crisps, peanuts and chocolate. During the summer months, a freezer with a selection of ice creams is also available.
Yes, free Wi-Fi is available throughout Residence Alpina.
Our outdoor pool is open daily during the summer from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm. It is located directly at Residence Alpina and is ideal for swimming and relaxing. Please be considerate of other guests when using the pool.
Our outdoor pool is not heated and is naturally warmed by the sun. The water temperature therefore depends on the weather and temperatures. In general, the pool can be used from the end of April until around mid-September. This means you can enjoy the warmer days of spring and late summer by the pool and on the sunbathing lawn.
Yes, dogs are welcome by prior arrangement. The charge for a dog is €15 per day. Please bring your dog’s own bed or blanket.
As our guests, you receive the South Tyrol Guest Pass free of charge. It allows you to use all public transport throughout South Tyrol, including regional trains, buses and all public cable cars. This makes it easy to reach many destinations and excursions without a car.
The tourist tax is €2.60 per person per night and is not included in the accommodation price. It is paid directly on site. Children under 14 years of age are exempt from the tourist tax.
Just 50 metres from Residence Alpina, at the public car park on the main road in Tesimo, there are two public Neogy charging stations for electric vehicles. You can conveniently charge your car using the Neogy app, an RFID card or a credit card. The electricity comes from 100% renewable hydropower generated in South Tyrol.
To confirm your booking, we ask you to pay the agreed deposit by bank transfer. The deposit is usually around 30% of the total amount. The exact payment terms will be provided when you make your booking.
Yes, families are very welcome at Residence Alpina. Our spacious apartments offer plenty of room for families with children. In the garden, you will find an outdoor pool, toys and plenty of space for children to play and have fun. There is also table tennis and table football, as well as a small children's kitchen for younger children. We are also happy to provide tips for family-friendly excursions and activities in the surrounding area.
Yes, we are happy to provide a baby cot and/or high chair on request. Please let us know when booking or before your arrival. High chairs are free of charge, while a baby cot costs €10 per day.
If you are unable to take your holiday as planned, please let us know as early as possible. The following cancellation conditions apply to our bookings:
  • Up to 3 months before arrival: free cancellation
  • From 3 months up to 30 days before arrival: charge of 3 nights
  • Less than 30 days before arrival: 100% of the booking value for the nights during which the apartment cannot be re-rented
  • In case of late arrival, early departure or no-show: 100% of the booked, unused nights
If something unexpected happens before your holiday, we recommend taking out travel insurance when you make your booking. Depending on the policy, it can protect you against potential costs in case of cancellation, late arrival or early departure.

You can pay in cash up to €1,999.99, by bank transfer or by credit card.
Smoking is not permitted in any indoor area of Residence Alpina or in the apartments. Smoking is permitted on balconies and in outdoor areas. Please be considerate of other guests.
Our holiday apartments range from 29 to 67 m² and can accommodate 1 to 6 people, depending on the apartment. We offer different types of Mono, Comfort and Family apartments, suitable for couples, families and small groups.
Yes, each apartment has its own kitchen or kitchenette. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, cookware, cutlery and crockery, as well as a kettle, filter coffee maker and moka pot. Tea towels and dishcloths are also provided.
Yes, bed linen, hand towels, bath towels and kitchen towels are provided in all apartments and will be ready for you upon arrival. You do not need to bring your own. Please note that pool towels are not provided.
On request, we are happy to wash your laundry. One washing-machine load costs €10. Please simply contact us directly during your stay.
Yes, final cleaning is already included in the apartment price. There is no additional charge for final cleaning.
We are a family-run property and live directly at Residence Alpina. We are personally available on site and are happy to help with any questions or requests during your stay.
No, Residence Alpina does not have a lift. The apartments are located on the ground floor and on the 1st to 3rd floors and are accessible via the stairs.
The check-in garage is located directly on the 1st floor. Upon arrival and departure, you can park there conveniently and load or unload your luggage. The three apartments on the 1st floor can be reached directly from the garage without using the stairs. The apartments on the 2nd floor require one additional flight of stairs, while the apartments on the 3rd floor require a maximum of two. The ground-floor apartment is located one floor below the check-in garage and is accessible via a staircase.
The centre of Tesimo is just about a 1-minute walk from Residence Alpina. There you will find a small supermarket, a bakery, restaurants and other facilities for your daily needs. The „Tesimo, Piazza Paese“ bus stop is also just a few steps away.
Yes, Residence Alpina is just a few minutes’ walk from the centre of Tesimo, where you will find several shopping options:
  • The small NaveS supermarket is about a 1-minute walk away and offers everything you need for your daily shopping.
  • Zöggeler Bakery is about a 2-minute walk away, offering fresh bread and baked goods.
  • Larger supermarkets and further shopping options can be found in Lana, about a 10-minute drive away.
Yes, in the centre of Tesimo and the surrounding area you will find various restaurants, pizzerias and traditional South Tyrolean restaurants. Many can be reached conveniently on foot or within a few minutes by car.

Residence Alpina is located between Merano and Bolzano. Both cities can be reached by car in about 20 minutes. The route to Merano leads via Lana and Sinigo, while Bolzano can be reached via Prissiano and Nalles, with quick access to the MEBO expressway. Residence Alpina is therefore an ideal base for exploring both cities and many other destinations in South Tyrol.
The nearest bus stop, „Tesimo, Piazza Paese“, is less than 100 metres from Residence Alpina and can be easily reached on foot. From there, you can travel to Lana, Prissiano and Nalles, as well as other nearby villages. With the South Tyrol Guest Pass, you can use public transport throughout South Tyrol free of charge.
